The University of Kashmir has recently released a notification in which they have informed all concerned candidates of the 4-year undergraduate program (FYUGP) under the NEP-2020 scheme, Batch 2022 that the class work of the 5th semester shall start from 12-08-2024. The registration link shall be available from 16-08-2024 up to 31-08-2024.
Students are advised to complete the registration formalities including opting for subjects of their choice within the stipulated time as per the following guidelines:

- Students meeting the statutory requirement of attendance in the preceding semester shall be eligible to register in the 5th semester.
- The candidates shall visit the Information Cell of their respective colleges for the completion of registration formalities.
- The candidates of previous batches (2015-2021), who have appeared in 1st to 4th semester or Second year exam (as per the annual scheme) but have not sought admission for 5th Semester / 3rd year yet, shall also be eligible for registration. Such candidates shall submit the Online Form available on the University Website. In case of any difficulty related to an online form submission, the candidate can visit the Information Cell of the respective College (with all Original documents).
- Any CBCS student joining the 5th semester under FYUGP of NEP 2020 shall have to qualify for course types 2 & 3 of the 4th semester in case of a single major and course type 2 of each major subject of the 4th semester as deficiency courses.
- The candidates shall submit the Enrolment Sheet Batch 2022 / downloaded Admission form (previous batches) for the 5th semester in the college concerned with a specific subject combination as per the syllabus in vogue.
- The College, using the unique Form No.s printed on the Form shall accept the new form on the University online portal.
- The College shall assign the subjects online as mentioned by the candidate in the Enrolment Sheet / Admission form.
- (a) Confirmation of subjects (assigned online by the College) and
- (b) Submission of requisite fee.
- The candidate is required to check the MyFormStatus page (available on the University Website www.kashmiruniversity.net) by entering his/her University Registration No.
- The candidate shall enter his/her University Registration Number, check their subjects, and accordingly confirm the selection. If the subjects shown are not as per the choice of the candidate, he/she shall visit the College Information Cell for subject correction within the stipulated period (before Fee submission).
- After confirmation of subjects (assigned online by the College), the student should proceed with submission of the requisite fee w.e.f. 19.08.2024 till the last date of registration.
- The fee payment through Receipt Mode (for orphans and specially-abled) can be deposited at any financial branch of J&K Bank.
- No subject change whatsoever shall be allowed after Fee submission. Principals of all affiliated Colleges shall forward the Registration returns along with the fee report to the office of the undersigned within 10 days after the closure of admission.
